What counts as an "account"?+
An account is one paying customer of yours. If you sell to TechCorp, they're one account, even if they have 50 users on the seat. We count companies under management, not seats inside them. Most of our customers monitor 50 to 250 accounts on the Starter or Growth tier.
What happens if I exceed my account cap?+
Nothing breaks. We never throttle agents in the middle of a customer-saving moment. We'll send you a heads-up at 80% capacity and 100%, and you can either upgrade tiers or pay a small overage ($5 per extra account per month on Starter, $4 on Growth). Most teams upgrade once they hit 90% twice in a quarter.
How does the 20% annual discount work?+
Pay for 12 months upfront, get 20% off the monthly rate. Starter goes from $1,000/mo to $800/mo billed annually ($9,600/year). Growth goes from $2,500/mo to $2,000/mo billed annually ($24,000/year). You can switch between monthly and annual at any renewal point.
Is there a free trial?+
We don't offer a self-serve free trial. We do a 30-day paid pilot instead, fully refundable if it doesn't work. The reason: agents need real data to be useful, and 7-day trials don't show the value. 100% of our pilots have converted to paid.
Do you charge per CSM seat?+
No. Seats are included generously in every tier (5 / 20 / unlimited). We charge for the work the agents do, not the seats your team takes up. This is the opposite of how Gainsight, Vitally, and Totango price.
Can I switch tiers mid-cycle?+
Upgrade anytime, prorated for the remainder of the cycle. Downgrade at next renewal. No upgrade fees, no penalty. You can also pause Meza for up to 60 days a year if your business hits a slow quarter.
What if I'm migrating from Gainsight or Vitally?+
We do migration for free on Growth and Enterprise tiers. Most teams migrate in under a week. We import your account data, health scores, playbooks, and historical activity, then map it to Meza's data model. Talk to sales for a migration plan.
Do you offer discounts for early-stage startups?+
Yes. YC, Techstars, and a16z portfolio companies get 50% off the Starter tier for the first 12 months. Email founders@meza.ai with your accelerator confirmation.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Credit card, ACH, wire transfer. Annual contracts on Enterprise can be invoiced through your procurement team with NET 30 terms.
